FAQ

Questions, answered.

The ones we get asked most. Anything else, email hello@quokka.cam.

How far ahead should I order?

At least six weeks before the experience. Design and approval take about a week, production about a week, and delivery five to ten business days. Tighter than that? Ask, and we’ll tell you straight.

Is there a minimum order?

Ten disposable cameras for an event. Wholesale orders for stores start at 50. There’s no maximum; big orders just need a little more notice.

Can I sell Quokka Cam in my store?

Yes. Wholesale orders start at 50 units, with pricing on request. Choose from our ready-made range, or order your own design on larger orders. More on wholesale.

How many disposable cameras do I need for an event?

One disposable camera for every three guests is a good start. Give us the guest count and we’ll suggest a number.

Do I need to supply artwork?

No. Our in-house design team creates a custom design based on your event. If you have a logo or brand guidelines, send them over and we’ll work with them.

Can I see a proof before it prints?

Always. You’ll see the design on the disposable camera itself, with two rounds of changes included. Nothing prints until you’ve said yes.

What film do you use?

Genuine Kodak 400 colour film, in every disposable camera. It handles indoor light and sunshine, and it’s the look people mean when they say “film photo”.

How many shots does each disposable camera have?

Eighteen or twenty-four, and every disposable camera has a flash. Indoors, after dark, on the dance floor: flash on. We’ll confirm the shot count when we quote.

Where do you ship?

Anywhere in Australia, tracked. For events overseas, get in touch. More on shipping.

What happens to the film?

After the event, take the disposable cameras to any lab that develops 35mm film. Or ask us about our partner labs, where our customers get a better rate.

Ready when you are.

Send us the brief. We’ll take it from there.
